Previous Clubs: Pure Fairford, through and though. (Did
play a bit for Ciren though).
Batting Style: Nervous, right handed block and bash.
Bowling Style: A lot faster and worse than it looks, a
la Craig White.
Favourite Fielding Position: 2nd slip – not a
lot goes there from our bowling.
Biggest contribution to FCC: This website.
Most Admired Player at FCC and reason: Derek Townsend –
for his great attitude to cricket and life in general - nothing
is too much trouble.
Favourite Ground (other than FCC) and reason: Newent, not
for the pitch but HUGE changing rooms and a balcony. Plus they
had a BBQ last time we played there and the sniper always gets
Bully. Bath, played there for Ciren, it's got everything - location,
scenery, facilities except bounce in the wicket.
Least Favourite Ground and reason: Birdlip, always cold,
never a good game, watching Brian Bright or David Partridge bat
and the grounds all out of square – square leg is at mid-wicket.
Cinderford, no more needs to be added.
If you had £10 left what would you spend it on: Earplugs
for when fielding in the slips or invest it in beer.
